St. Louis County is providing access to recovery housing with supportive services for justice-involved people with opioid use disorders, SUDs, or co-occurring disorders in the Northeast Iron Range of Minnesota. This project is designed to integrate and implement programming and resources within the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) four dimensions of recovery: health, home, purpose, and community. Co-located support services within a recovery residence will connect residents to peer recovery specialists, support groups, therapists, and care coordination. Through collaborative recovery housing programming with project partners, residents develop living and employment skills and engage in educational opportunities and activities that focus on health and wellness. The intention of this cross-sector collaboration is to cultivate effective partnerships to achieve the project goals with strategic attention to cross-agency shared learning and data sharing.
