Stevens County is increasing access to supportive recovery housing for justice-involved people with a SUD or a co-occurring mental health disorder. Building off work completed during the Reaching Rural planning initiative, the team is hiring a project manager to develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows necessary to complete the three-tier accreditation process necessary to become a Certified Recovery Residence in Washington State. In addition, the project manager is working with agency leads to develop strategic planning, policies, and procedures and research relevant funding for ongoing operations of the recovery residence.
