Wright County is adding a reentry navigator to team with people preparing to exit the jail to better determine their needs, connect them with supportive programs while they are incarcerated, and provide structure and support during reentry to the community. The reentry navigator works within the jail setting and completes reentry needs assessments with individuals and offer service navigation support. This enhances existing services by doubling the staff time attributed to the program and expanding the reach and depth of services to reach a more robust collective of this population.
