MacKenzie Dorr has worked as a juvenile probation and parole officer for the state of New Hampshire for the last 12 years. She has been a trauma specialist for the state and is currently a Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) trainer within her bureau. Officer Dorr is a part of the Restorative Practices Leadership Team through the New Hampshire Division of Children, Youth, and Families and has developed partnerships with local schools, law enforcement, and other community partners designed to improve the quality of services available to the youth and families she works with. Officer Dorr is passionate about the work she does and believes that the youth are the future of our communities.
John LeBlanc is a police captain for the Pittsburg, New Hampshire, Police Department. He moved to Pittsburg in 2014, where he started his career in law enforcement working for the Colebrook, New Hampshire, Police Department. Prior to his law enforcement career, he served in the U.S. Army for 9 years as a military police officer. Captain LeBlanc loves working in a rural community because it gives him the opportunity to connect with residents and know them on a personal level.
Eric Moran has been in long-term recovery since July 13, 2013. He was the fifth certified recovery support worker in the state of New Hampshire and has dedicated the last 10 years to helping others break free from their addictions. Mr. Moran is now the director of four recovery community organizations called “The Shed” in Center Ossipee, North Conway, Littleton, and Berlin, New Hampshire.
Joy Noel is the Opioid Abatement and Substance Misuse Prevention Program Manager for the North Country Health Consortium, which includes the coordinator role for the New Hampshire Juvenile Court Diversion Program in Coos County, New Hampshire. Ms. Noel’s passion to help prevent or break down barriers to create optimal access to services, funding, and resources for underserved populations, coupled with empowering youth to make positive choices, drives her work every day. With seasoned experience in the nonprofit sector and resource development, she is mobilized for harnessing the power of strategic partnerships and innovative approaches to drive meaningful impact for individuals and communities.
Erik Petersen serves as a consultant for the substance use disorder (SUD) project at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital (UCVH). With a rich background in addiction recovery and mental health, Mr. Petersen brings invaluable insights and strategies to the SUD team. His expertise lies in implementing evidence-based practices and innovative solutions to enhance SUD care. Mr. Peterson’s role involves guiding the project toward its goals, emphasizing community engagement, and improving patient outcomes. His contribution is pivotal in advancing UCVH's mission to address SUDs effectively within the community.
Greg Williams is a Certified Prevention Specialist currently working for the North Country Health Consortium as the substance misuse prevention coordinator and continuum of care coordinator for Northern Grafton and Coos Counties. He is the team lead for such initiatives as the “UP” Granite State Youth Conference, Recovery Friendly Workplace, Young Adult Strategies, and more. Mr. Williams graduated from the State University of New York at Stonybrook with a degree in studio art. He serves on the board of directors for North Country Community Radio, the New Hampshire Providers Association, Granite United Way, and ADAPT.
